The sum total of our decorations...

it was a sad year here at our house...we both got sick during December and there was just so much going on that we decided not to pull out all the Holiday decorations and we weren't able to get a tree up....but at least we hung our stockings by the chimney with care! If you look back to the February 19, 2006 post about the heat deflector and our gas logs, you'll see that our niece Carlyn was right to be concerned about just how Santa was going to get down the chimney. At Thanksgiving she stood by the fireplace for a few minutes pondering before she asked Robbie how it was that Santa would get down the chimney since of course it was blocked by a piece of sheet metal, funny.
